Job Summary
Better Being is looking for a Software Engineer with cloud experience to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals eager to kickstart their careers in software development while leveraging the latest cloud technologies.
Essential Functions
- Write, test, and maintain clean and efficient code under the guidance of management and senior engineers.
- Assist in building scalable applications and services for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Support the integration and deployment of applications in cloud platforms.
- Work on implementing cloud-native features such as serverless functions, containers, and managed services.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to enhance your coding and architectural skills.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
- Debug and resolve minor application issues.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to project documentation, including system architecture and user guides.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts, such as virtual machines, containers, and storage.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
- Basic knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee must exert up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
